What does Chain of Title mean?
This is a record of the ownership history of a piece of property, including all of the conveyances and transfers of ownership that have occurred over time. A chain of title is often used to establish the current owner's rights to the property and to ensure that there are no outstanding claims or encumbrances on the property.
